Who does god prefer angels or humans and why?

God does not necessarily prefer angels over humans. There are many humans with higher conscious than angels though they are the few who are going to transcend this material world after this life. Angels are just beings with higher consciousness who worship God and want very high material sense pleasure in return for their sacrifice. They have better Karma, that is why they are in the higher realms of existence. Though they do not have wings as most humans think. They fly by the mind or in flower or swan shaped air craft unseen to the human eye. If one wants to go to the higher planets they have to have extremely good Karma but it is not recommended to go there because it is temporary and eventually one has to come to the earth to become liberated from material existence. There is too much opulence in the higher planets and they get very attached to that so it makes it difficult to transcend from there, so after about 10,000 years or more there they fall to earth to try for the eternal abode. The Bhagavatam has descriptions of all 400,000 forms of human life in all the planets. It's amazing

God prefers humans, Angels were made as slaves we were created so He could have a relationship with Him and could talk to Him and Him talk to us. That's why it is important that He gave us free will so we couold choose to engage in that relationship. He won't push Himself on you but He will accept you if you come to Him.

He loves us more than the angels, who are better servants than we are. That's why satan hates us so much.
