Do shower Aspiration: Take your kitty into the bathroom with you and shut the door. Turn off the vents and towel the door. Turn the shower on hot and just sit in there with her for about 20 minutes. Cuddle her or let her wander- whatever she prefers. Do it three times a day. It will clear her breathing- saved my kittens life. Start doing this immediately and don't stop until she is breathing good. Be sure to keep her warm when you leave the bathroom until she adjusts to room temperature again. Wash crud out of eyes regularly with a soft warm damp towel. You could also give her a little L-Lysine- it is an important amino acid that most cats do not get enough of, but talk to vet before adding any med- she may not need it. It is cheap and available in any drug store, but difficult to administer as you have to crush it, dissolve in water and squirt in throat with dropper- no need to further stress kitty if it won't help her current situation.

Call the vet back again and let them know. Kittens get respiratory infections that can kill them. Really push your vet.
