Love means different things to different people. I believe the term is tossed around in too many ways, to the point where it almost has no meaning anymore. I prefer to use "intimacy" or "attachment."
There are biological aspects of attraction and passion that are an important part of intimacy. These form very potent sources of fuel for a relationship, and I think they can be very important if they also include a certain amount of consistent communication and emotional process. Other important ingredients include mutuality in the relationship, respect for the person, and empathy for whom they are and what their needs are.
Simpler signs are merely that this is somebody with whom you feel comfortable and enjoy spending time. This should be somebody you look forward to sharing an important experience with, and without that person, that experience would not be as special. Finally, you should feel that your life is fundamentally enhanced by having this person with you and when this person is not with you, you lose something meaningful.

Love is when you would give the world to this other person if you could.....that every second spend with this other person is the best time of your life, it makes you feel love, secure and most of all the luckiest woman or man in the whole wide world. Thinking about this other one distracts you from doing what you must. When you would do anything in your reach to make this person happy, and smile. Love is priceless and definitely doesnt have a limit.Love is when you could be with anyone else but you choose to be with them, or could be anywhere else but you rather with them in their arm loving each other and spending those wonderful moments.Love is hard to explain as it is to feel it and even to get to know it........not everyone is lucky enough to find true love and keep it.

The world's great wisdom traditions say that love is the ultimate reality of existence. In human romantic relationships, the more we strive to reflect that divine, universal love, the more harmony and freedom we will have with our partner. Real love has no agendas, no attachments, no ideas, no demands, and no conditions. These are all things we add to the experience of love, which begin to contaminate our love, and which also begin to confuse us about what love is. Real, uncontaminated love has one simple agenda: to love! Our minds can talk about love, but they can't actually experience love. Love can only be experienced through feeling. Many times we confuse the experience of love with the word or idea of love. You can say the words "I love you," and not be feeling love. You can also feel love when you think you can't or shouldn't.
True love of another human being is wanting what is best for them even if that's not you. Our idea of what is best for them and what is truly best for them may be different.

Love is a very precious thing, if you find it you have been blessed! It is something you feel, it is respect, admiration, attraction, not able to picture your life without the other person.

love is a commitment--to be there by your beloved through their moments of glory and loss--thru their best and worst--to respect and honor and forgive---to want what is best for that person regardless of one's own personal gain.
