If she's mature enough, in your opinion then yes give it to her. It's always a good thing to show them other things that have happened to girls not too much older then them

I think if she is sensitive or mature young lady, it could be great time . This is about the time when young ladies begin to journal and keep diaries of their own, and you might consider going one step further...giving her a diary of her own when you give her the book!
By reading the book she can begin to see the relationship between a young girl one day back when who wrote and afforded us TODAY an understanding of a time in history when, without her writing, we may never have known it from a child's perspective...just because Anne needed "someone" to talk to.
This could be huge, and could teach her so much and perhaps lead her life in a direction of introspection and then be a lesson to write out feelings, record happy and sad events, a lesson in being free, and what the freedom of expression really means!!!
I see only good coming from it! Good Luck, to a Caring soul!

I read the Diary of Anne Frank in grade 6.
Its your choice,if shes more mature, give it to her now,if not, wait untiil she is in grade 6,that is probably the right age to read it because grade 7 is too old, grade 5 is a bit too young.
-hope this helps!

Why would you ? As long as you think it's something she would enjoy reading, it shouldn't be a problem.
