what this command do :

grep, egrep, fgrep, export, find a file in history?


history | grep cat
and how can we find something in our history file?
or how we can display all files which ends with *.html in our current directory or history file.
waht does export command exactly do and grep and egrep and fgrep?

Type "man grep" at the command prompt to get all the info you need.

Your history file is in your home dir. Mine is called ".bash_history" because i'm using a bash shell.

(ls -lA displays all contents of your current dir.)
