Different things work for different people. Here's what helps me. Lots of water before you go to bed. Dehydration is what causes a hangover and a headache. Have some cold ginger ale or 7 up in the fridge for the next day. Also, make sure you have some food in thr fridge so you don't have to leave the house the next morning. In the morning drink the ginger ale and take some Tylenol. If you feel you can eat, something greasy helps me. Pizza, a cheeseburger, some enchiladas etc. Sometimes a nice chocolate shake does the trick for me. Don't chug it, but it's nice and cold and filling. Sleep sleep sleep. And if you like to indulge, wake and bake first thing in the morning. Good luck!!

Eat before you go out drinking. Drink water throughout the night. Try to drink a very tall glass of water before you go to bed - with some Advil. The only thing that has worked for me for a hangover is sleep and Gatorade.

The best thing you can do BEFORE drinking is eat a filling meal. Drinking 101: Never drink on an empty stomach. Guarenteed hangover. A hangover makes you feel lousy because your de-hydrated. If you get a hangover drink alot of water, try to eat something and sleep it off. Also, if you remember, take an aspirin and a glass of milk before you go to bed after dinking.

Well, I wont say something dumb like 'dont drink so much'. Best is to drink a glass of water every couple of drinks. Also, that pedialite stuff works, as well as a gatoraide or poweraid. A banana will help. If all else fails, start drinking some more.

Chug a red bull or eat a banana. Then start drinking water. Hangovers are basically dehydration and potassium will actually rehydrate quicker than water. This is why when people go to the hospital for dehydration they are put on a potassium IV or "banana bag."

A hangover is basically dehydration. To stop one happening all you have to do is drink as much water as possible before you go to bed, I normally manage 1 to 2 pints and hardly ever have hangovers.

Tomato juice - preferably mixed w/beer or vodka, but can be drank alone. Also- drink a glass of water & take an advil before bedtime- works wonders. From a seasoned drinker

coffee, black when you get home or before going to bed (given that you already did drink some if not plenty of water before that.)
It worked for me. Next day, if you're unlucky, pop an aspirin, drink water. Otherwise, load on juice.

Get hydrated. Better than water, you want to replenish electrolytes. There are several sports drinks that help, also Pedialyte is good too. You might want to take a couple of aspirin if you have a bad headache.
