If you are concerned about it becoming stale to her why don't you spice it up a bit? Like maybe cut down on the size of the arrangement and instead of those little cards, enclose a gift certificate for a pedicure or a facial? These little gifts will be sure to be appreciated as every girl loves to be pampered. Keep up the great work, sweetie....every gal should be so lucky to have someone as caring as you!

It could get old, but it's also something nice to look forward to. As long as the affection and love is still behind the gift each time, that's what matters and keeps it from getting stale.
Why not change it up a bit? Give her different flowers each time, or surprise her on when they're coming or how she finds them. Give her potted flowers or occassionally mix in one flower with a small gift (like her favorite candy). The little bit of extra effort you put into it each month will keep it new.
(are there more guys like you??) =)

I personally love getting flowers. For my 10th wedding anniversary my husband gave me 100 roses. He has chosen to give me flowers for special occasions such as my birthday or anniversary.
During the summer he loves to surprise me with a flower or two from his flower bed. He plants assorted mixes to get an array of flowers. I enjoy the beauty that his flower bed.
I believe that getting flowers on a monthly basis should be something simple like a daisy or carnation, but for really special occasions it should be just as special. Not every man gives flowers. Flowers make each and every women feel special, but most importantly it gives us pride to tell our friends what our man has done.
If you feel that giving flowers may be getting a little boring try adding a stuffed animal or a balloon. A change of flowers would be different, for example if you are give her daisies, try carnations or maybe even a lily.

I prefer receiving rose bushes, flower plants and seed. Flowers die, the plants usually don't and give me lots more roses or flowers to remember the special person by when it blooms.
Cut flowers are fine, but don't give the same ones. Make a special tradition though and not do it when she would expect it. Try matching the flowers to the season or months, try cookie flowers, fruit bouquets, balloons, different surprise things that she won't be expecting so that it won't get boring.

Creativity is key. The more creative you are, the more you think of her. I love out of the ordinary gifts and gestures. Ever see Hitch? When he sends her a walky talky and the delivery guy brings her a wet suit because she chose the Sunday date, THAT's original and very thoughtful. Flowers every month can get blah and expected. Give her something she's not expecting. It can be simple, but think creative.

I don't like getting flowers at all. What's the point in having flowers unless you picked them out yourself?
