German Chocolate Fudge Recipe

Ready in: 1-2 hrs
Serves/Makes: 2.5 lbs

Ingredients:
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 bar (4 oz.) sweet cooking chocolate, cut into small pieces
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme
2 cups sugar
1 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 dash salt
1 cup flaked or shredded coconut
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:

In a lg. bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweet chocolate pieces, and marshmallow creme. Set aside. In a heavy 3 qt. saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt. Heat to boiling over med-high heat, stirring often. Cook, stirring constantly for 5 mins.

Remove from heat and pour over chocolate mixture in bowl. Stir vigorously until chocolate is melted and well mixed. Quickly stir in coconut and pecans. Turn into a buttered 8" square baking pan and spread evenly. Cool, then refrigerate until well chilled and firm. Cut into squares. Store, covered, in refrigerator or freeze.

"This is a recipe my family loves! it is simple and does NOT require a candy thermometer like most fudges. It's pretty simple and does not take an expert to make it; because of this many people make variations to this recipe!! You can use any kind of chips and/or nuts. I hope you enjoy my recipe!"
Original recipe yield: 48 pieces

READY IN 2 Hrs 30 Min

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Line an 8-inch square dish with foil.
In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt. Bring to a boil and let roll 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in marshmallow creme, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans and vanilla. Continue stirring until marshmallow creme is melted and all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Pour into prepared dish.
Refrigerate for 2 hours, until firm. Lift from dish, remove foil, and cut into pieces.

1 lg Can Evaporated milk
1/4 lb Butter
4 c Sugar
2 pk Chocolate pieces (6 Ozs ea)
1/2 Jar marshmellow cream
Combine first three ingredients in saucepan and cook to 234 deg.F or until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Stir often. Remove from heat and fold in remaining ingredients. If desired add chopped nuts. Pour into greased 8 X 13 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.

Fantasy Fudge

3 cups sugar

3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine

1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup)

1-1/2 pkg. (12 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, chopped

1 jar (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme

1 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

1 tsp. vanilla


LINE 9-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; set aside. Place sugar, butter and evaporated milk in large heavy saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.

ADD chocolate and marshmallow creme; stir until completely melted. Add walnuts and vanilla; mix well.

POUR immediately into prepared pan; spread to form even layer in pan. Let stand at room temperature 4 hours or until completely cooled; cut into 1-inch squares. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

MARSHMALLOW CREAM FUDGE

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 c Butter/margarine
2 c Sugar
1 cn (5 oz.) evaporated milk (2/3
-cup)
1 pk (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate
-morsels
OR 2 cups milk chocolate
-morsels
1 Jar (7-10 oz) marshmallow
-cream
1 t Vanilla
1 c Nuts, chopped (optional)

Place butter in 9x9x2 inch dish. Heat in microwave on
full power for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until melted.

Blend in sugar and evaporated milk. Mix well.

Cook in microwave on Level 8 (medium-high) for 15-17
minutes or until soft ball (see note below) stage is
reached. Stir mixture frequently during cooking time.

Blend in chocolate morsels, marshmallw cream, vanilla
and nuts. Stir until smooth. Chill until firm. Cut
into 1-inch squares. Store in airtight container.

NOTE: the soft ball stage is when the candy syrup,
when dripped into very cold water, forms a firm ball
which does not flatten on removal from water.




Here is one too, and if you add chocolate chips instead of the white it is good too, and is easier than the one above...


VANILLA FUDGE

1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup margarine, melted
5 ounces evaporated milk
7 ounces marshmallow cream
1 1/3 cups white chocolate discs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Line a 9-inch square pan with foil extends over sides of pan; butter foil.

In a saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Add marshmallow cream and white chocolate discs; blend until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan. Cool to room temperature.

I dont have a recipe but I believe I've seen it on the jar of marshmellow fluff you buy in the store. And a great website to use for about any recipe is Cooks.com

I package of semi sweet morsels

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 cup marshmallow creme

melt it all over low heat.....pour on plate.....refrigerate until hard
