error message ......please help?

I am trying to install an electric guitar coach software and when i go on to run setup i keep getting this message C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. The error message is called 16 bit Windows Subsystem

Your operating system configurations might not be compatible with the software.

As a workaround, try updating the os by going to www.microsoft.com and check for updates.
Then restart and try again.
