Those doctors have parents in there all the time asking the same question--I'm sure if they were worried they would have checked him or given him something to help. They just haven't formed properly yet.

More than likely the tear ducts are not fully developed or are clogged. Take the baby to an eye specialist. Doctors may need to provide drops for a while. If it does not clear by the time the child is 12 months or so the doctor may have to perform a little surgery to help clear the blockage.
If it is a blockage try to gently message the area with your finger softly.
After that you should not have any problems. that is what happened to my daughter. She is now nine.

My nephew had something like that, and we took him to several doctors but none did anything for him. Then we took him to a specialist, and he grabed his book and found out that the symptoms had to do with a bacteria that forms on the eyelids. This bacteria forms into a secration and thickens, makin it impossible for the kid to see. He prescribed my nephew with some eyedrops. and he also recommended a lot of hygene. He said for us to mix a drop of the baby johnsons shampo with 5-6 drops of water and with a q-tip rub it along his eyelids. You have to do this 2-3 times a day.

If the clinic and the docs are aware of the problem, and they say its possible that his tear ducts may not be formed yet try not to worry. leave it a while then try again if its still no better. you've done the best thing in informing your medical professionals so try relax, you will only stress both yourself and baby out.

Probably got blocked tear ducts but this normally happens later on in life when they are worn. I know this as mine are like it and that is what my GP diagnosed.

The human body is so complicated, it just takes some time for some of it to get going.
