Lies! LIES! If it's not in the bible it's a lie! Or the work of SATAN! Yeah, that's the ticket!
Personally, I LOVE the "God put dinosaur bones in the ground to test our faith..."! You ever hear that one?

Why is it that modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince YOU otherwise?
There are just as many scientists proving evolution isn't a proven fact as there are scientists attempting to prove it is a fact. Each time evolutionist scientists come up with something they think will stump the creationist scientists, the creationist scientists counter-attacks with a truth that evolutionists can't personally deny, but publicly deny because they would look foolish to openly admit they had been scientifically proven wrong.
Evolutionist and Creationist scientists all have the same credentials,so how can anyone believe one side and totally dismiss the other?Just because Creationist scientists have a belief in God certainly doesn't make them any less qualified than Evolutionist scientists.

My faith didn't come from an "idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in 'tongues.'" More importantly, I don't need "proof" to believe. Proof is overrated. How many scientific ideas are still "theories?" A theory is, technically, NOT PROVEN. We've proven the theory of gravity, thus it is the LAW of gravity. Other ideas - theories of evolution, the big bang, etc - are still theories. Your belief in these as-of-yet unproven theories constitutes a faith all your own. And I totally respect your right to have faith in your beliefs. Why can't you respect my religious beliefs?

All of modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics point to intelligent design, not a 'big bang'. And I don't believe that speaking in tongues is evidence of God, just evidence of the stupidity of some of the people that claim to follow him.

This just shows how inaccurate you are because its all based on individual needs rather than concrete evidence. I believe in God when I see nature because I know it was made by something divine. I dont believe in Christianity because it is a man formed structure and I dont believe in organized religion. Maybe its you that is needing the convincing because you feel a need to post such a lame and biased question. Who could possibly answer this for you other than the conviction of God himself?

i have yet to see an idiot rolling on the floor speaking in "tongues" convincing someone that, that's going to be their evidence to prove their faith.
but i have known of physicists, biologists, cosmologist, & other scientists who gave their entire lives in their fields of study & even though having started out as atheists or agnostics have eventually become convinced that there must be a God. A God of order who must have designed the mystery we call life & the universe.

PROOF is what people without FAITH require.
The presence of FAITH removes any and all "need" for "PROOF".
"Modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics" is unable to offer "proof" or support for either side of the issue. You have "faith" in what you think science says. This is enough for YOU to think that Christianity is disproved.
Keep your mind and heart open, and keep asking questions. And don't be surprised if you get an unexpected answer.

definite, some lady easily tried to apply a youtube video of somebody being resurrected from the ineffective of evidence that God works miracles. haha. Yea technological know-how and evolution are a stretch, yet a burning bush and conversing snakes are so lots greater convincing haha

Because Christians don't like being proven wrong, so all they have to do is play the "faith" card, whereas Humanists, Satanists, etc have facts.
Regardless, there's no way to say whether or not Christianity -- or ANY religion for that matter -- is true or just bs.
That's why I stick with being Agnostic.

Yep.
As Darwin once said " Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science."
And he was SOO right about that.
