I know of born again Christians (Saved/eternal life) who don't have oil in their lamps full. What happens to them?

I believe the oil represents the anointing/Spirit of Truth, that we are anointed with when we confess Jesus Christ our Lord.

I do believe that there is a reason why certain ones are not on fire as they should be.
Some will be left behind and will have to face the worst of the tribulation. But this is a need for unsaved people who yet need salvation. Some, I believe, are meant to stay behind to continue spreading the Gospel. I believe that the Holy Spirit will remain because it is the Holy Spirit who drawls the unsaved in.

This scripture is talking about keeping the fire alive in us, walking with him daily, praying and reading the bible keeps the Holy Spirit in us. When we stop doing these things, the fire gets smaller and smaller. There are people who think they're in like flint because they once accepted Jesus as their Savior. But all through the New Testament we are warned to "abide in Him" and "remain in Him" or "your name will be blotted out of the book of life". Not a place I would like to be thank-you.

I'm a christian and I've never heard about oil in a lamp - I would offer that it is not part of what we believe. We are baptised and can confess our sins at any time.

The oil in the lamps was a parable. All we need is the spirit, believe and live like God wants us to live and you are ok.

Anyone who has come to God in The Way He proscribes will be called to meet Jesus in the air at The Rapture. for those who have rejected God's call and not come to Him as He proscribes... they will be eternaly seperated from God.

I think your both sunk. Another example of why people just shouldn't break away from the Catholic Church. Now the breakaways are breaking away and hating the ones they broke away from?
