I noticed that too. I think it's kinda funny.
Maybe their twinkies.... yellow on the outside, white on the inside.
Maybe their oreo's... black on the ouside, white on the inside.
Who knows.

Damn, with all that's going on in this world. Seriously! The truth of the matter is that, interest is what draws two people together.I connect with men because, they appeal to me. Then I have a preference on what type of guy. And race depends on where, when, and most important WHO is there. I do certain activities, and events. Art is my thing, all my life I've encountered interracial connections. It's two people sharing their worlds.Culture, no more or less then same race relations. It takes certain individuals to see past ignorance, and experience The Journey! I am Creole,Italian,African, and The Best for last. (BLESSED!) Open your mind. I'm out there.

While I won't dispute your observation, perhaps the behavior is not connected to the relationship as you suggest? A black female who doesn't go all "fly" is more likely to attract a white guy, and vice-versa. Perhaps they were that way all along and the personalities clicked?
That aside, its not unusual to take on the personality, traits, and styles of the one you love. You are around them all the time and likely think and feel the same way about certain things.

Most people take on the personality of there date. Is the best way I can seem to describe that myself. We all set off clues to who we are and the type of men/women we like by the way we talk, dress, and act. Its a personality trait. We all do it. That is how we atract the people we do attract in our lives. As in lovers and friends. By the way we dress, talk and act. Blessed be........

Women always try to please the man that they are with. She could hate football but watch it with him if he enjoys it just to be closer to him. It's just what some women will do. As for imitating another ethnic group, (African American is not a color), some girls feel it's necessary to act that way to be accepted by his family and friends although in most cases they don't need to go there. I have experienced this countless times and if it's a natural change you can tell but if it's trying to hard in order to get accepted you can tell that too. The same applies to African American women who date Caucasian men--imitation for acceptance.

It's all on you . Why worry about what the next woman is doing. They're not worrying about you. They're getting what they want, who cares if the guy is black, white, yellow whateva! Just do you, and you'll be fine. Give every guy the chance to prove he's a good catch, and you'll have less questions about why she is with him and not you. Good luck and stop worrying about the next person.

It's true but it's nature. "Birds of a common feather tend to flock together" and if you hang around with a type of group, you tend to behave and have the same beliefs as they do. It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with survival and sociology. It is the foundation of culture.
