Im planning to visit during march/april and Im not sure how to dress .. Ive been there at christmas time and it was freezing but I love the cold =)

Weather can be crazy, especially lately with global warming. Have to be prepared for a little of everything. I recommend an all purpose water resistant outer layer and sweater layers for underneath. A good strong umbrella is helpful too since the buildings create some powerful wind tunnels. But you can find cheap umbrellas on most street corners. Maybe better not to lug one from far away. Bring cute first layers in case it's really warm!

Could still be pretty cold. In March there could even still be some snow - but doubtful it will be significant snowfall. You CAN count on wind and rain without a doubt. Warm coat and umbrella...by April you may only need a light coat, but you'll still need your umbrella. March and April are very windy months here in the NE.

I'm not a new yorker, but I live in Pennsylvania and we have basically the same weather. It will probably be cloudy a lot, in the 50's, 60's and it could reach into the 70's(usually only in may). It will probably be raining a lot too, so i'd bring some jackets and jeans.

It's still cold. You'll have to pack sweaters and a jacket. You can also take a look at www.weather.com for the average temperature in those months.

its unpredictable. Sometimes the weather is nice and springlike and sometimes it will snow in the middle of April. So just come prepared
