Can you put copper pots in the oven? (400 deg) They are pure copper and the handles are cast iron... Thanks!?

Thanks... I'd like to be able to transfer what I'm cookin from the stovetop to the oven and want to make sure it's safe with my copper pots...

yes, that's what there for, you can put them under the broiler also, but remember the handle will be very hot, so use a oven mit
