I am 19 years old, long blonde hair, blue eyes, and overall, not that bad looking. I have a large tribal design tattoo on my lower back and a rose on my neck. I want one more, the shape of the state of Texas(that's where i was born and raised) on the lower part of the right side of my stomach. Is that too much?

Pay no attention to the folks being negative about tattoos. It's your body, you can get whatever you want, where you want. There's no such thing as too many if it's what works for you.

Honestly it's not good to ask how many is too many. Think of it this way would you consider a person that has, say, the top half of their body completely inked, just like a long sleeve shirt. Would that be one tat or many, because when you look closely there are many tats that make up the picture as one. Is that too many? I wouldn't think so. But then I have 12 with more coming.

Go with the amount that you want. As long as you are happy isn't that all that matters really?

Only because you are 19 would I advice you to slow down a bit. Tatoos are cool but wait until you are 30 to do the next one. It isn't that you may regret getting another one but your thoughts and values regarding what it should have been may change. If you still want the same thing by age 30 - do it. If not you can opt for something that means a little more to you. You look good right now but there isn't much attractrive about a 70 year old wrinkled tatoo of Texas.

Some people can pull them off, some people cant. If you can, go for it. My back is half covered, the back of my neck, my arms are nearly sleeved, and I'm starting a large piece on my calf. There's an old saying "Tattoo's aren't for everybody, infact they're too goddamn good for some people." Screw the ones that say one tattoo is too many.

I think your personality should dictate how many you get. Kat Von D is so beautiful and she's covered in tats. She also has a style that can get away with having lots of tats.
You should also take into consideration what you put on your body (hers are all representative of who she is) I have one that I worked on myself for 15 years and it has all of my children's names in it I got it when I turned 30. I works on me because it's an expression of who I am as a person.
So my point is, get as many as you feel good in, and make sure they are a part of you, not just a little picture from a tat book. You do have to live with them for the rest of your life.

Being "hot" is all about confidence. As long as you're happy, and feel good, other people will see you as "hot" too!! So I say go for it!! I have 4 tattoos. All are hidden when need be, but I think they are all sexy!!

Go for it! I don't think that would be too much at all.
I believe its your body and I never ask for other people's opinions. If I'm happy, thats good enough.
