this is all hypothetical, of course.

in a perfect world, if it were all honesty and actions speak louder than words with everybody, then the mass of questions about relationships wouldn't be needed here because everyone would have great communication skills and would be open and honest about what they want in a relationship... but i thought this would be fun to ponder. be creative. don't worry about the reasoning behind the question (which is obviously untrusting).

"does this make me look fat?"

... i don't know there is one question. i never asked my husband something to determine if he was honest. his actions toward me showed it. the only lies he's ever told me have been "the frogs are holding up a sign, they want you to come over" "the fish want you to come over" "fig told me he wants you to come over" - fig is his cat. this was all while we were dating, i thought it was pretty funny, i still razz him about it and tell him he's lied to me before.

Words are meaningless here honey. Actions always speak louder than words. They can say anything, and usually, it's the ones who protest like crazy that they're honest that are not. If you want to find out about his character, get yourself a little journal and just write down the things he DOES, not what he says. Did he say he was generous, but he fails to tip waiters adequately? Did he say he was always on time, but he never shows up on time for dates? Look at the patter and judge from there.

I am not sure there is really one question that you could ask to see if they were honest. If they are not, they would probably lie anyway and if you have no way of determining if it is indeed the truth, how would you know. I think it would take a bit more to determine honesty.

any question would be good what matters is how they answer it, body language. how anyone moves while answering a queation can say alot.

eye movements, playing with thier hands, shifting back and forth, those are just a few. the real trick is if you know the person well enough to spot those signs.

i use something called 'reverse psychology' works everytime.. ask him a question you already have the answer to .. see how he ponders it.. EG. if you see him at the bus stop with some girl, ask him where he was going and if he says 'what you mean, but you know he doesn't know anything about the bus service etc and he drives, you know something is up.. y is he at the bus stop with some girl in the first place... 'walking her to be nice etc'..

There is no question....if thats the situation it could be lost already....its trust more so than an answer that determines honesty and alleviates doubt

Something that could be verified, like the size of his p*nis, or his bank account balance. Those are things we really care about anyways!

If he saw $100, kinda hidden, but visible on the floor of your place, would he pick it up and keep it or tell you he found it?
