I use plastic snap on rollers. The magnetic ones. They really work great. I dont use heat on my hair at all.

I think you mean a curling iron but i really don't use that i would normally use a flat iron and just put a girl; in the end before i wrap it that way it will fall out into a curl

To curl your hair u should use a curling iron or to have it look more natural you should scrunch it while its wet by using mousse or hair spray dont use gel because gel has alot of alcohol in it which can make ur curls look dry after that let it air dry than use a difuser to dry it.

use non-heat plastic rollers in towel dryed hair with a good setting lotion and either let your hair air dry or use a bonnet dryer

This is the best and least damaging way to create curls in your hair

Mine is naturaly curly and I straighten it... LOL
