expense?
ie.. not paying towards the cost of this war, whilst enjoying less terror threats than we recieve.

France, Germany, Russia, etc enjoy the benefits while our men and women die fighting.

It is easier for them to stand back and watch. England is our only responsible allie. What they don't understand is that they are not exempt from terrorism. They are just postponing it.

Oh my god, do you still think this war is about terrorists from the middle east? Wake up, will you? This was is about money for some very rich and powerful citizens of the USA...not France, Germany or Russia. I thought everyone was over the war on terrorism thing by now. It's even getting old for Bush.

I agree thoroughly with each and every thing you suggested about the media and how they hide up lies. i believe each and every American has the right to charm to close what's occurring, both good AND undesirable. i imagine almost all the rustic disagrees with the warfare on terrorism because we want a even as to spotlight yet another difficulty it really is been swept less than the rug for far too lengthy. the problem? us of a. through Bush's powertrip, our u . s . a . has been omitted and now human beings in basic terms want to confirm our troops come abode to be able to get well and heal. it really is time we flow on, fairly even as it really is a challenge it really is not ours to fix.

I don't know about the other countries which you mention, but THIS Country was also dead against it, but were hoodwinked into it by Tony Blair following George W. Bush's say so. GWB always intended to finish off the job his Father started and left unfinished.
We endured The Troubles, but the War on Terror attacks we now endure are much worse since we went into Iraq.

Sorry, Steve J, I was going to give you a thumbs up for your answer, but twitched and clicked over the thumbs down. I have got my husband to give you a thumbs up. Please forgive me.

If you are going to ask questions like this at least take the time to get your facts straight first. Russia has been bombing Chechnya for years now and many thousands have died. Chechnya want independence but Russia are fighting the rebels there. Putin is loving Bush's so-called 'War on Terror' because they can now label rebels as 'terrorists' and no-one feels able to criticise them any more.

Exactly what benefits are you seeing out of this war? Besides the few companies that our down their making millions off the poor, so that's a whole 120 americans, mostly older white males, getting richer. Other than that, I see pain, suffering, and a lack of concrete goals.

No, don't be daft. It is a misguided and stupid war - and has put us at far more risk of terror than we were before. It takes more courage to stand up for what you believe when you are being bullied into a pointless fight.

Grow up.

A lot of countries have sent troops to aid in the middle east actually. I know the German military has for some time had troops in the region working directly with US troops. A smart country, people, and leadership is going to recognize that terrorism is everyones problem.

Less terrorist threats? If anything, this "war on terror" has increased terrorism globally.

Speaking of terrorist, funny how 19 of the 9/11 hijackers came from Saudi Arabia but in the past 5 years, they have not been invaded nor heard of much in the news.

No. The premise of yoru question is wrong. I think the war in Iraq has caused more terror threats, not less. We were wrong to go to war in Iraq. I think the French, Germans and Russians were right to opposse the war.
