Jennifer,

If your the black sheep of the family and he has the unlisted phone number and your the reason .... let it go!

If not....you can try asking the local Albany Police department to make a "hardship or breviement" notification ...basicily they will leave him a note or give him a phone call asking him to contact you ... but only if you have a valid reason.... if you jerk the PD's chaine they will jerk back!! Be fore warned.

Some police dept's will ask you to go through your local PD (where you live to send them a teletype ...making the formal request ....it can be done ... but this is not to be entered into lightly. Cops are busy donut eatin' people ... they don't do humanitarian very often ... alot of time the requesta are just a way to harras somone... so they will screen the information you provide ... and if poked ...that dog will bite.

Good Luck!

If his number is unlisted, it won't show up in on-line searches. That's the point of an unlisted number---since it isn't published in the phone book, it can't be "farmed" by websites. How big is Albany, Oregon? Try sending him a letter just addressed to his name, and Albany, OR 97321. He might get it. Of course, if he doesn't WANT you to locate him, he isn't going to answer it.

Try yahoo people search, enter his name and see if it can come up with the number, its pretty good in my experience. Most services though they say they are "free" typically ask for money somewhere down the line depending on the amount of info you want.
