I don't know if we can ever answer your first two questions. We have to answer the third question or we will have wasted all that we have been given.

Whereas the origin of the species does have a bearing on where we are going, (because either there is a purpose for all this and a resolution ie. a God of Purpose,a Creator exists, or there is not a purpose and we will all just end up hit by a comet and become apart of oblivion). Since we are in NOW and our future as a species appears to be in jeopardy, that would seem to be the place to start. For example if a deadly hurricane is headed your way and you are being warned to get out of the way; is it more important at that moment who your ancestors are, or to respond to the warning?
Now there are warnings coming from all camps. Scientists say there is overpopulation, global warming, shifting magnetic fields... Bible prophesy says these are the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-6 ) and predicted that in our time humans would be on the verge of destroying the earth. (Revelation11:18). The difference is that scientist hope that somehow they will come up with a solution before we destroy ourselves; while tha Bible says there will be Divine intervention and a better world after that,. ( Revelation 21:3,4)

Good question.
My personal opinion would be,
Where we came from/ how we got here?
because once you have answered this question you can determine how to answer the next. For example, if you answer the first one using a scientific point of view you don't believe in Judgment day and any kind of after life. But if you answer it using a religious point of view the planet will end and the after life will begin. Hope I have made sense.

youre going to be hard pressed to get answers not based on any writings nowadays (for people have written books on just about anything you can think of)... and now with the web which have made it so much easier to cut & paste (& plagerize)
anyway which spiritual question is more important...
you have to know where you came from and how you got here to understand where you will be going... so the former

There is answer to both questions, and unfortunately those answers are in writings. I'll try to give you answer to second question in
" my words ".
Most of Us will stay here, and some of Us will live on other Planets. Science called Biophysics is able to conquer Death today. Is that something you'll be able to enjoy ? , not sure, don't know you that good. What I know about you, is that you got killer questions, and if you continue asking them, searching for Truth, you'll find true love, that will keep you alive.
Satisfaction guarantee.

Where we are going. Humans are not likely to remain the dominant species on the planet, but evolution continues as long as there is any life, anywhere, and we are a part of that.

'Where are we going' seems more important to me as it has to do with the future. It is not going to help much knowing where we came from (if we needed to choose one question to ask) rather than to know where we are heading. Finding out an answer to this question is important as it has an impact on the present.
To me, knowing that I am going to the afterlife affects my choices and decision now.
I hope this makes sense to you.

where we came from and how we got here. We need to understand the past before we can move on to the future. Remember, history repeats itself.

Neither of those questions get at the essence of spirituality. The essence of spirituality is to understand our place as cxreated things, and the questions should lead us to who is my Creator and for what purpose am I made?
