Essential oils which are inhaled have been shown to act through the olfactory tract directly on the brain's limbic system where sexual feelings and behavior arise.

Jasmine, Patchouli, and Ylang Ylang are said to deliver a strong arousing feeling. Is this true? If so, does anyone know which delivers the strongest effect?

there are 2 distinctive reactions to Patchouli.. people either like or they hate it, I hate it! jasmine , gardenia& Rose are romatic sents to me. Ylang Ylng is too sweet or something.. I dont like that either. Is this for someone you are trying to romance or for a candle/airfreshner? People associate smell with so many dif things and events in thier life, it can be a personal choice.

A dab of pure vanilla extract behind the ears has worked for me ! I heard cinnamon is high on the list as well. Maybe linked to good childhood memories. How about baking an apple pie with these spices too ?

It is Patchouli, but many many many men HATE the smell...wonder why that is? I find Lavender tends to work best, even though it is not often used for arousal.
