I'm hosting a Halloween party for 10-12 year olds and I'm planning a scavenger hunt. What sort of Halloween items can you suggest I put on the list? I have a few things like spider rings, black nail polish and snack sized Snickers bars. What else can you suggest? thanks!!

Lots of creepy crawly things ..like rubber snakes ar spiders or bats, or insects.

You can get those tiny pumpkins at most grocery stores. Have them bob for pumkins. Huanted Makeovers, with a little face paint and tiny brushes they can turn each other into a corpse bride or the bride of frankenstien. For a snack idea. Chocolate pudding or Red Jell-O with gummy worms and gumballs that look like eyes in them. You can make cookies that look like bones, and red icing so it looks like they are bloody. Scavenger hunt - Maybe you can find some little box that require keys that look similar to a skeleton key. Have them search for the clues leading to the key, when the find the key,it has the last clue to lead them to the box that have little goodies in it. Maybe huanted madlibs, or a reasonable halloween dvd. The prizes inside should be for things that they can all do together for the rest of the sleep over.

When I did scavenger hunt last year, I put McDonald's gift certificate. Just $1.00 ea. but they loved it! I also put in pencils, erasers, rulers. For girls, I put plastic beaded bracelets, lip gross, pony tail bands, small stuff animals. For boys, I guess more candy??

Do like, candy, face paint, things for costumes, and maybe wigs or hats or even coloring books or barbies

im 14 so i should know....LOTS of candy....its what halloweens for, ummmm fake blood and guts and eyeballs and stuff....scary gross out stuff.....we kids like a thrill....especially if their on a sugar high...spider rings are soooo kindergarten.....seriously
