I was flirting with this guy who hit on me first and thing were going good when i found out from a friend that he has a girlfiend but he doesn't like her. Is he just messing with me, do you think he could actualy want something, or is he just a jerk and should i stay clear of him?

Stay clear for sure. If he has a gf and is flirting with you, and you found out that he really doesn't like her, then obviously he is stringing her along. He will do the same to you when he tires of you, and someone new sparks his interest. Stay clear, you can do better than that jerk.

Many guys flirt even if they're taken. Sometimes it is liberating for us because we're not worried about rejection... at least for those of us who really aren't looking for something. So he may not be intentionally messing with you, just being friendly, even if a tad too friendly.
But guys can be jerks, so yes, he might be looking for something. If he doesn't like his girlfriend, he should break up with her before he really starts trying to get with someone else. If you're sure he has a girlfriend, yes, stear clear of him unless you want him to do the same to you.

Yeah...he's probably just bored. And if he actually does have a girlfriend....you can bet he'd treat you the same way if you pursued a relationship with him. I suggest you ask the guy if he does actually have a girlfriend...you could have been misinformed (or your friend could have been). If he does have a girlfriend, then he is definitely a jerk and stay clear. Good Luck

Stop drop and roll on sweetie!! Don't even bother. You know that if he is doing that to her he is a total jackass and doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as you!! He has a big nasty empty hole in his heart and no matter how many women want him it will never be enough. He has to learn to respect himself before he could ever respect you or her. This is not uncommon. Learn to recognize it now so you never turn out to be the one at home while he is out flirting and heaven forbid cheating!

Stay clear of him. If he didn't like his girlfriend he wouldn't be with her! They aren't married. Obviously he is saying this to justify it being OK to hook up with him. He is messing with you and would probably do the same to you if you were in his girlfriends place.

Ok I am concerned about your judgement. Why would you want to pursue a relationship with a guy that has a girlfriend he doesnt like? Would you like to be his next girlfriend and have him stay in a relationship with you even if he doesnt like you? Either he is very strange or he is lying to you about not liking her, either way he sounds like bad news.

well to tell you the truth hes jus messing with you if he really wanted to be with you he would dump his girlfriends that you say he supposely doesnt like if he didnt like her he wouldnt be going with her trust me i have seen so many of these situations and usauly the people like you get the bad end of the deal!

Rule of thumb- he has a girlfriend, because he wants to. So he likes her. Stay away from him- hes an asshole

If he's still with his gf and doesn't like her, it doesn't say much about his character, confidence or the actions he could have with you if if you were together. I would stay away from him.
