why would you give your pets something that isn't good? If it would make you sick, why wouldn't it make them sick? They have feelings too--don't treat them like second-class citizens!!!

I think you can see that the answer is a resounding "NO!". However, I think a little more information on top of emotional reasons can go a long way to helping you understand why you should never, never do such a thing.

1. Fact: Animals can't eat everything that we can eat. Some foods that are harmless to us can actually kill animals, not to mention medications.

2. Fact: Unlike popular belief, adult dogs and cats often grow off milk much like humans, they lose the abillity to digest milk especially if they have not been brought up on a regular diet of milk. This is because without regular milk feeds, their stomachs will lose much of the bacteria that is needed to digest milk proteins. Give them too much milk and they can have a bad case of diarrhea. If their old, you may even have to take them to hospital.

3. Why be penny wise and pound foolish? What is there to save by giving expired products to your pets or even strays? Not only will you be hurting them, you may well end up with a massive vet's bill - just because you tried to "save". Think twice.

Which brings me to my final point - I'm glad you had the sense to ask first before acting. Too many people just take things for granted and act before thinking things through.

Congratulations for trying to be more informed.

Nope because dogs should not be given milk and milk is also questionable for cats.

You could give it to the pigs; if you have some pigs.

No, it should be poured down the drain. Besides, cats should not drink milk at all once they are weaned from their mom.
