The best thing to do is to get into a good routine....start off by cleansing your face every night before bed and again in the am... (i find that instead of all the expensive cleamsers etc Dove unscented bar soap works great and is also Dr recommended...) Once a week you should exfoliate your skin this take away all teh dead skin and other gunk that cause blemishes...after you exfoliate you shoudl fill a sink with hot water put a wash cloth in the water and then place it over yoru nose or other area that has the black heads....do this about 10 times hold the cloth there each time til it cools off....then take a peice of kleenex (put a kleenex over each index finger) and gently extract the black heads...if you do this then keep up with the cleansing routine your nose should clear up...it works for me..

well there are different types of tools..
check out this search in ebay.com
the vacs work.. but you must keep the batteries fresh and apply pressure.. it does work wonders mostly on the cheeks but the nose does well also.. just be careful with the nose.
and manual tools which also do a great job.
keep the face clean.. that helps and drink more water.... you can't avoid the dirt... but you can keep it from embedding deeply.
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=blackhead+remover
most of these are good items..
get both the manual (looks like surgical tools) and the vacs.. i use both and my face is pretty clean.. from what i can get to that is.
and steam the face also and when drying your face with a towel do dry by using circular motions on the skin so you remove the dead skin and bring up any dirt and oils that have been left behind during the washing/steaming process.

Try Biore to get rid of the black heads also there is a new zit zapper that is battery operated, costs about $200 and takes out the black heads.
A Dermatologist can help you too. Usually black heads, pimples and acne respond to antibiotic treatment, retin-A or Accutane.

Biore pore perfect strips (that'll take out the blackhead junk and the hair) and Proactiv -- get into a routine. You could also go get some facials at your local beauty shop.

HI.They are temporary problem. Keep your nose and face clean and it should clear up on its own, but there is a product that is a kind of tape. When applied to your nose it sticks to any plugs and they are removed when the tape is pulled. Doesn't hurt. Forget the name.

Try that Biore patch pore strips. You wet it and it sticks onto your nose. After five minutes it dries and all of the grease and blackheads are stuck into it. You just peel it off and the mess goes off with it.

Check with your pharmacist to see if she has a salicylic acid facial cleanser. I had bad skin all through my twenties and that was the only thing that cleared it up.
