Sell it to someone else and have him repair it then. Because as it goes a mechanic doesn't work on his own same as a plumber and plumbing and so on. I finally just accepted that which I could not change.

Take it to another mechanic, and then when the owner thinks it was done incorrectly, he will jump in and fix it "properly" especially if it is a male mechanic, since males have that testosterone and must do things their own way.

i am married to a mechanic and i can't get him to stop working on his truck....and there isn't anything wrong with it!!!! He finds things that "just don't look right" and has to replace it!!!!
so i am trying to figure out how to get him to work on my car that does actually need the work!!!!!
