I believe that charity begins at home , I will never give to charity's as so much goes in the pockets of the people that run most of them , If I won enough I would go to the source and give them the things they need not the money then its guaranteed to go to the needy not the greedy.

Greed gets the better of everyone, when not a millionaire you say you would do this and do that because we understand what's its like not to have money and to scrimp and save to get by,just like the poor and needy. But when rich attitudes would change beacuse money is most peoples no 1 reason for concern, sorting bills paying mortgages etc,But when loaded all these problems disappear along with your concern for others.
I would say most would say they would but in real life if they did win would not,
i would be happy with £ 1 million so if i won Fri £75 Million would i give £ 37.5 to charity???
No but i would give £10million to charity and split the rest among family and friends and every year make a considerable donation to some charity.

Based on me winning £75 million on the Euro MIllions this Friday I know for a fact that I would give 50% to those less advantaged, be they poor, sick, needy or suffering
Does anyone know what the interest would be on that? You could give the interest away and change the lives of thousands of people each year

60 percent I can give, no problem, I dont mind giving away 70% because I did not earn it, I have the confidence to become rich without the help of Lotto.

Better than giving half to the government in taxes. They waste most of it on war, trailers that sit unused while Katrina victims that survived remain homeless and lifelong benefits for retired politicians while the rest of us have to pay for our own medical!. At least MY charities really help people instead of scamming my money!

yes- i'd evenly spread it to several charitable organisations of which i have respect for such as barnados, cancer research, the NSPCC, the 7/7 and 9/11 memorial funds and the michael j fox foundation for parkinson's and Aids charities to name but a couple. besides, i don't need that much money anyway- all that matters really is my and other people's happiness

depends how much i would win probably not though as my disabled mum could do with a lot more looking after, as long as my family could survive without having to work!
i'd be willing to donate some though...

Not half; more like a quarter. I also want to donate to zoos and environmental charities. And hey, employing contractors and travel agents is a societal good, too!

not to poor people - charities in general.
and a percentage of it.
its according how much i won.
if i won a million, then i would give a quarter of that.
but if i won like 7 million, i would give around 2/3 million.
