My friends are thinking of taking their honeymoon in June 2007 in either Brazil or Puerto Rico - any suggestions? If you choose one, why?

I have heard amazing things about both locations. I'm sure you would enjoy either one. Sorry, I'm probably not much help.

Puerto Rico. Is more accessible and economic. Remember they go to honeymoon, the time for see other attraction is very limited, you know! Brazil is more big and is possible that the place for visit is to far. Brazil is a good option for a anniversary on the first or second year.

Since I was born and raised in Brazil I am very partial to picking that country as a destination.
I would tell your friends to look for a resort in the Northeast part of Brazil. White sandy beaches, wonderful and welcoming locals, music and fun everywhere you go. And the food is just FANTASTIC!
Oh, however, it is going to be the beginning of WINTER in Brazil next June. So they might want to go to Puerto Rico after all if they don't like cold (or slightly cold) weather.

Puerto Rico. I've been there it's beautiful......Brazil i've only seen on TV....i don't think it's suitable for a honeymoon.....

brazil my mom and dad went to puerto rico some months in the past and that they pronounced that they have the WORST drivers there yet perchance it quite is by using the fact we are from the city it quite is #a million on the friendliest drivers record, and that i quite got here across that variety of exceptional, yet i think if it quite is like puerto rico in different cities, than perchance it quite is not so outstanding.

go to Puerto Rico... its fun, beautiful and lots of things to do and see.... you dont want to see ti*s and dic*s in one of those nude beaches in brazil... do you? :S
we dont have that here.... :)
Also, the food is GREAT, San Juan is beautiful at night.. the music is awesome... etc :)

Oh, I´m brazilian and our country is really nice, it isn´t just carnaval, they would enjoy it a lot.
