The legal age to drop out is 16 .

16 by why would anyone want to drop out of school? Going to school means you are learning something some don;t even care to. Getting a degree in school is important for your future. Those these days seems they do not care about their future and what they plan on doing in their life.

it's 16 in michigan but in other states u are required to stay in school till 18

It's not how old you are to be, but you can drop at High School. Not before that, legally.
