I am going on my honeymoon next week. My bridesmaids got me a "sex basket" ... w/ vibrators, toys, etc. Can I take those items on the plane, if they are in my luggage that I check?

I'm not sure w/ all of the new regulations.... ?

Anyone have any idea?

IF IT'S IN THE LUGGAGE THAT I CHECK - THE LUGGAGE THAT GOES LIKE UNDER THE PLANE - DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD CARE? I'M SURE THIS HAPPENS A LOT, RIGHT?

If the luggage is checked not carry on... you shouldn't have any problem. If your going to foreign country I'd say check with the airlines. Because depending on where u go, you have to be ready for some custom agent to tell you open the bags... The vibrators shouldn't be any problem but depending on what your definition of sex toy others might.

But you will find out that you don't need any of them for your honeymoon or your new life together. You could leave them home and have a new experience in the privacy of your own home, apartment when you return.

Sexy lingerie and the fact that both of you are free to express yourselves with each other should be erotic enough on the honeymoon. Exploring each other bodies can be so much more satisfying rather than toys. Congrats on your upcoming honeymoon.

You can certainly check your toys. You cannot check flammable or hazardous materials like gasoline, gunpowder, acid etc., sounds like this will not be an issue.

If you are afraid the TSA will open your luggage, point and laugh, this might be a legitimate concern. The TSA does sometimes open and inspect luggage. Every once in a while when unpacking I find a card in my luggage from the TSA saying something to the effect of "We inspected your luggage in the interest of safety. Thank you for your cooperation".

yes you can take them in your luggage that you check in. If customs check your baggage after check in, all items 'should' be oput back where they found them. If you are checked at customs on arrival somewhere or when you get home, officers are trained to be discrete.

good luck with the wedding/honeymoon

I don't think that it would be a prob.....but I am sure that they will probably check your luggage and find all of that, if you don't mind them seeing it then I don't THINK that it would be a problem.
You might want to actually call and check just to save yourself the headache

have no idea maybe you should call the airport in advance, unless you want to be embarrased when they take those out and show them to each other!
