I don’t understand evolution…so “poof” God made it

And please don't back up your answer with Christian pseudo-science.

Cork...Einstien did not believe in a personal God. In fact he took a lot of heat from religious groups over his views.

Yes, another person with a brain. Welcome to the ultimate showdown. The stupids will insult you, give you violations, and yes, even pray for you. But, please be strong. Ignorance must be stamped out.

First of all,Einstein never came to believe in a "personal" God,but he recognized the impossibility of a non-created universe:
"I want to know how God created this world.I am not interested in this or that phenomenon,in the spectrum of this or that element.I want to know His thoughts. The rest are details."

I have researched evolution, big bang theory ,and all other aspects of how the universe and all life was created. With all the inconsistencies and major holes in the theories, the one thing I have a hard time understanding is how those who think they are so intelligent can just blindly follow those theories when the very idea of something coming from absolutely nothing is so illogical. Many scientists of every branch of science is coming to the same conclusion. There is just too much scientific evidence AGAINST evolution for it to be true.Of course the atheist evolutionists aren't going to accept what is so obviously true, and others will blindly follow their bogus "evidences" because the alternative is inacceptable to them.
As for understanding or not understanding certain things;we certainly can't claim to understand God's mind, although I perfectly understand the mindset of those who believe in evoltuion. There's certainly no mystery there. If there is something religious people don't understand,we attribute it to God for the simple reason that He created all things, and only He has ALL the answers. Not even science has the answers, even though it thinks it does. One day,all will be revealed, and those who think evolution is the answer to everything is going to feel,to say the least, pretty foolish in their deceptive assumptions.

I don't believe in God because I don't understand the other theories...I understand them fine and I am a Christian because I believe in God and Jesus as the Saviour. Science can go hand in hand with Christianity, scientists can't answer all the questions either. God has power over the elements and uses them. If I don't understand something I say so, I don't use God as an excuse for anything.

i have found with some of the questions i asked today that they are truly a blind faith. One christian will say one thing and another will say another thing but they have said 2 completely opposite things. If they are blind to things that science has proven to be hard fact what makes you think they would owen up to actually not knowing or just completely being wrong. I must say some of them i feel know there stuff because i got some actual good answers but for the most part the more questions i ask the more i get talked into a circle.

Because that way they don't have to accept life on life's terms. No one wants to feel absolutely powerless, so it must be easier to think that some big 'being' controls everything. That way they don't have to be responsible or accept the reality that much of this life on earth is 'hellish' for many people most of the time- think about war, famine and poverty. Many religious ideas or doctrines are coping mechanisms against the ideas of loss, suffering and death- all of which are inevitable. I'm guessing it's just 'easier' to not think about it, and pretend it is "God's Plan" instead.

None of the things you mentioned really make much difference in most people's day-to-day lives. Why worry about the explainations? If you believe in God, you know that God created everything. What other explaination is needed at that point?

Unless I'm in the field of science, why would these things help me? They wouldn't pay my bills, make my wife love me more, keep my friends happy, or teach my children how to live in this world.

What value do these things give to your life? Please feel free to email me the answer. I'm honestly curious.

It's simple really...for religious people, everything is attributable to God...whether it's understood or not. No 'poofing' necessary.

Who the heck but you said that?
We understand the Big Bang theory, do you understand what occurred before it?
We understand evolution, it is a theory without proofs, oh yeah, all those zebras morphing into house cats, I forgot.
We understand complex natural systems a lot better than you.

So "poof" I made you go away.

To alleviate their anxiety about their lack of control over the forces of nature. Living with uncertainty can be very uncomfortable and it's easier for many to hand over their uncertainties to God and forget about them.

Because reason is like a very powerful bleach, if they use it on one aspect of their belief system it can very easily spill over onto any cherished belief, thats why many of them are taught to have faith rather than use reason.
