Depends on what soups you are eating. You might add a bunch of vitamins to your diet if your only eating soup. I have stomach problems and have soup during attacks only along with pills, but some solid is good like wheat product and stuff like that. You will have to have someone watch out over you if you choose to do this, dur to a high rate of a possibility of a eating disorder on the horizon, just be careful whoever you are! And remember , if you don't use it you will loose it! eating solids food is important.

Silly girl, it was probably a soup commercial! Seriously, I usually have soup for lunch every day at a local diner. . . it's a nice break in the day without a "real" mid day meal, which would result in eating too much. Good breakfast, soup for lunch, good dinner; that's the best formula.

My mom put my whole family on a cabbage soup diet for about a month. We lost weight as well as control over our bowels. Don't do it. Just eat less of whatever you want, and go to the gym regularly. Not only will you loose weight but you will not get sick.

If your going to try this diet becareful. A lot of soups have a ton of salt and salt retains water. and if you eat a lot of salt and then drink water it will make you look fat. Plus salt isn't great for the heart. Most americans eat 1500 mg more salt in a day then what you are suppose to have.

I'd say no. People are meant to chew and swallow their food. You need to research this more. Sure you'll look skinnier, but really drinking soup is just a step up from being Anorexic. I may be wrong, but hey, it's just my opinion. Good luck

no , but I am on a liquid diet and in 2 weeks lost 15lbs, so if the soup does not have meat and is just clear I'm sure it will work. I on muscle milk 5-7 days a week. and sometimes will eat on the weekend . try your diet and see if it works.

Yes years and years ago i tried.. I maybe lost 5 pounds and got so so sick of the smell of cabbage. If you have the stomach to try it have at it.
