I think all religious fanatics should watch the movie Dogma...There's no hope for them being more understanding of others religions, but it sure would piss 'em off! :)

Because logic dictates that no more than one religion can be the correct one...however, all can be incorrect. This is based on the fact that the foundations of each religion preclude the validity of the next...hence all religions are mutally exclusive.
For an adherent to any religion to hold that his or her religion's beliefs are, in fact, the only correct ones is an exercise of conviction and that personal convictionshould be admired rather than ridiculed even if the belief subscribed to is suspect.

Hey, i understnd what u mean. I asked a question about Johovas witness people, i am cathelic, and they all though their religionm was the onle true one.I am nto religious. People think just because one book(bible)sais one thing, its all true, and you should follow what i sais what is important, is that u beleive in something. I think u should follow you heart and not go crazy on what it sais in a book. IF u dress.talk,do something u want to do,have any celebrations u want and its not what your god likes, than u wont go to hell. No religion is the correct one. One person decided to write whatever they wanted to write in a book(bible), and thats it. And than the rest decided to beleive it or not.It can be the truth or it mightnot, no one has proof. I believe in my own god, not a god in a book someone just made up.

Some people need an absolute truth to know where they fit in to the world. Every religion says they are the only way to God. People who choose to believe they have THE answers get frustrated and angry when someone disagrees with them. They feel threatened!
It is insecurity

Muslims aren't all Islamic, so it may not be the religion it might be your race. Every generation has its target race and right now its your race, but it will soon pass, just like all the others. Just live your life the right way and all other will have there time. What comes around goes around. Carma

many feel that if their particular belief is argued it is judged as wrong ....
the reality is that the same God that created us is the same God that will judge us from His viewpoints as to what we did in this life that He has given us ......
personally would rather be sincerely faithful than eternally wrong
may you find the peace you are obviously searching for...
