Depends on your state... And if how big your classes are going to be.

If your doing it in a small setting 2-4 kids and doing out of your studio most place dont have a problem with it.

Now if your going to a school or having a big class you might need to either get a "day care" licence or get a certificate. Check with your local state or town to see what there statues are

You will need a teaching degree to teach in a school. Because schools have to satisfy certain credentials, they will require either a teaching degree or substantial professional experience. However, if you want to offer extracurricular classes through an independent organization, such as a church or a community center, a teaching degree generally is not necessary. Still, some pedogogy courses would be really helpful, because teaching anything to children is a very difficult skill in its own right.
