If you were an omnipotent god, (you can have anything you want) would you CHOOSE a system whereby you'd have to kill your kid in order to redeem your creation? I've just never understood how this could possibly be true.

thats because u are right buddy, that does seem unreasonable thats why muslims belive that god is too great to have a relationship such as that of jusus to the father, god cannot have a son he is god the only one god just as jews belive. but jesus was just a man that was created by god sent as a prophet and saved before they put him on the cross by being raised to heaven

That is the great mystery. How could God so love his creation? You have to accept that by faith.

Jesus said you were worth more than all the riches in the world for all time: Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.
What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:35-37

nicely my view is trouble-free, why could you worship and supply your existence for a god that we could undesirable issues take place to good people. the sole rationalization you acquire, is that this is all god's plan or will. If i presumed in god and heaven i could quite burn in hell then be with a entity that has the ability to end suffering without attempt, yet chooses positioned the good people through undesirable trials, whilst the evil people of this international stay wealthy of the suffering of others. you're able to could desire to be a ill guy or woman to nicely known this god. absolutely everyone or factor that condemns my mom, who's the main selfless, kindest, loving individual to hell because of the fact she does tarot taking part in cards and does not bypass to church does not deserve my love. If any real individual dealt with people like which you're able to say F U pal and probable beat his ***. people could desire to get off their fat butts and supply up praying, and start up taking action. and that i'm sorry that your grandmothers in that soreness, I had to visual exhibit unit the two my grandpa and grandma die slowly from maximum cancers, the sole factor you're able to do help is provide them love and fill their very final days with all your love and supply them convenience until eventually at last the tip, reason if there's a god he does not care approximately you or your grandma's suffering. he's in simple terms too busy staring at toddlers getting decapitated on the Gaza strip. i'm no longer attempting to make you have self assurance in yet in a different way, yet in simple terms positioned the spot lite on the easy truths in this international.

I think the better question is "If God is omnipotent, then why create Lucifer, if you know he is going to rise up and revolt?"

As for your question, even though Jese was killed, he also rose again. So, its not really that bad. Kinda like purposely getting your kid sick from chicken pox as a child, ithey won't like it, but they will get better, and become immune to it. Same general concept.

His love for you is so awesome that He gave His only begotten Son. We have doubts about it because we live in a selfish, self-seeking world filled with people who can't love. He sacrificied so that we would see the magnitude of his love for us all.

He didn't choose to have His Son killed. We did. He was willing to sacrifice His Son in order to allow us to be reconciled with God. What tremendous love He has for us! Praise Him!

then be an atheist and then its easy you don't believe in God hence this stuff in the bible never happened...plus the bible isn't true anyway its just another story like a Stephen King novel...

there was no other way.
there was nothing that was perfect and unblemished to be sacrificed for our sins. remember before jesus, they had to sacrifice animals to atone for sins. once a year they sacrificed animals for atonement. walking away the sins already started piling up for the next year. could u imagine not being able to be forgiven but once a year? also, without jesus we'd not have a direct connection to speak to god. we'd have to speak to him thru the high priests. it was necessary.

i do understand what you're saying. why would he want to send his beloved son to be tempted, beaten and then crucified, but it was necessary and it shows how much he loves us. he sacrificed what he loved most to ensure our victory.

Yes. WHY would God put his son on Earth to eventually let him be tortured and murdered? WHY would he CARE if you believed Jesus was really HIS son? WHY would he send your soul to hell if you didn't believe Jesus was his son?

Answer: HE WOULDN'T!!!!!!!!!

the things of God seem as foolishness to man - this is from the Scriptures

anything else could easily be claimed of man as his/her doing or choice

just as salvation is a Gift of God - not of works lest any MAN should boast .......

arguments of belief of not are simply opinions of man --- do not change history or fact of God and His Son
