Because guys are dumb and are willing to put up with crap from a pretty girl than be treated like a king from a fat girl. But some more mature men can look past that and look past your fatness to your personality.

Truly it all depends on perspective. Some guys like bigger girls but the majority of guys don't. I'm fully sure as to why some guys like big girls and others don't. It may be something that has to do with society and how we perceive bigger people or it could be that it is in our nature to procreate and guys can see More procreation with a thinner girl. Who knows.

Good question.. most men are superficial and see only what's on the outside of a female.. they like all the hot skinny anorexic gals walking around in bikinis. They fail to realize that some of those gals are self-centered and bitchy on the inside until they've been with them for a while.
They don't realize that just because we are overweight, we have emotions and feelings too. I know exactly how you feel. My ex left me for a really skinny gal. He said that he would rather be with her than with someone like me. That hurt.

Well honestly...fat girls are only appealing to some men. not all men like fat women, and not all men like really think stick looking girls...you need to pick someone who will love u for u. and your fatness...don't go for men who don't like fat girls.
fat is kinda strange..when i was pregnant i hated being fat and was uncomfortable with it even though my husband kept telling me I look hot.
When a man looks at a woman he first thinks ...uhm..she's skinny and beautiful and she could have my off spring! he also things healthy. and able to have a family...live longer...stuff like that..

I dont intend being nasty unlike the other twats on this board.... overweight girls can be just as pretty as skinny girls, just guys are so narrowminded that they dont want to get to know the heavier girls. Put it this way, if they dont bother with you they aint bothering about.
