If one of you is still in high school, then that one is too young to move away unless you are an emancipated teen. Stay in your school, finish your education. If he wants you badly enough, he'll wait for you.

WOW !! How weird is that my 18 yr old moved out last night with her boyfriend to another city and I was and still am devastated. I worry that her being an hour away is too long if she gets into trouble and needs me. She is now going to finish school on line....I am broken hearted because I wanted to see her walk across that stage. Really think this through before you decide to leave . These are life changing decisions you are about to make.

if you are still in high school, why would you need to move to another state unless you are willing to relocate to a school there?
if this is his way of getting you away from your family - do not go .... for he does not mind affecting your life while changing his own
if this love is meant to be - it will work out - after you graduate
you only have one life - make the best of it

Don't do it. You should know the answer to that one yourself. Who you would marry and/or leave home with today is NOT the same person you would do it with 5 years down the road when you have grown up. I know it hurts to hear that; but, you have ten or fifteen years left to enjoy yourself before thinking about getting involved with someone who only wants one thing and than dump you once his goal has been achieved.. Don't think he will dump you? OK you will dump him when hes atittude changes so much that you will want to leave..

Well since you are the one in high school then you should tell him you have to finish high school first and then you will consider moving with him. If he is willing to wait or not, then it will tell you something about the way he feels towards you.
