Dental care is very expensive so unless you are ready to pay for your friends dental care I suggest that you just leave it alone, but if you are concerned enough to foot the bill there is the invisiline braces that are almost invisible to the eye.

It is not clear whether only the teeth are protruding out or is it the jaw. If only teeth, then the less expensive traditional orthodontic braces are the answer. If the jaw is also involved, then orthognathic surgery. If esthetics are the equally emphatic point, then prepare to afford Invisalign braces which works well for mild to moderate cases. Invisalign are actually a series of (almost invisible) trays/aligners, given as per the duration of treatment. A consult with cosmetic dentist for an answer in crowning and veneering can also be explored as Instant Orthodontics.

Depending on how 'out' his teeth are, he could look into the Invisalign (sp?). It's an invisible retainer-like brace that straightens the teeth. He should consult with his dentist.
