That policy ALSO belongs to the other 279 or so million US citizens who are tired of the illegal immigration crap. We just can't stand for being systematically invaded, period. Can't have it.
I support the border fence, I have since I first heard about it, I think it's a good idea, and contrary to what some other people say, I think it'll herald a new day of good relations between the US and Mexico. It'll help Mexico, because people will stop trying to USE Mexico as as springboard into the United States, it'll help shut down the druggies, it'll be an all-around benefit to both nations, while still permitting legitimate commerce.
We're a nation of immigrants, but also a nation of laws, like the man said, and those that oppose it likely have a financial interest that won't withstand the full light of day were it to be really looked at. I look forward to more 'good neighbor' policy from Congress.
Bravo, ladies and gentlemen, Bravo!

Signing the bill for the border fence sent to him by the Congress is a sign that Pres. Bush is at least becoming aware of the importance of this issue. He hasn't really had a policy on immigration problems. Do you mean his opinion?

It can't get any worse. And although I would like to see more done, i.e. a more comprehensive policy, I can't and should complain that at least something is getting done. Bush didn't say that by signing this bill for a fence he wasn't going to do anything else. It's tiring when politicians are unwillilng to break up their bills full of unrelated, high cost pork.

I heard appropriations were made, and I know the fence is presently being built, and I hear fewer are making it over the boarder, and those who are are being detailed and then returned home, and I heard employers who hire illegals are being fined. So, it all seems to be working.

Everything his ignorant-@ss touches goes from sugar-to-sh*t in zero to 60 seconds!
