Well, are you a virgin?
I personally do not have sex with a man until I know I love him. And if he truly cares about me he'll wait until I'm ready. And vice versa. A woman should wait until the guy is ready too.
I used to be a complete sl*t and would sleep with anybody, but the excuse I use is that I had a totally overprotective upbringing and went crazy when I moved out at 19. I don't regret a single thing because it has made me who I am today and I always used protection. I don't care what people think about how many partners I've had...I alway just think that Samantha Jones on Sex and the City was a WAY bigger sl*t than I ever was...those women DO exist.
Just make sure you truly truly feel deep compassion for this person. It doesn't necessarily have to be TRUE LOVE, but just that you care so much for them that you want to express yourself physically and make them feel special.
And alway encourage the woman to pipe up if you aren't doing something right or if she wants it faster or slower or harder, whatever, and if you aren't doing something she likes, tell her to let you know what she likes, and teach you to do it if you don't know how. A LOT of women are afraid to tell men what they are really feeling about sex because A LOT of men throw a hissy because they either think they are God's gift to women, or they think that they are great lovers (which often they are not), or they just can't deal with constructive criticism. CRUEL criticism is one thing, like if she tells you your penis is too small. A truly caring woman would love you no matter what your size and would even work with you so you are both sexually satisfied.
I have never been able to reach orgasm (because of medication) but I still am sexually satisfied. I take satisfaction in knowing that I have shared myself with somebody I truly care about.

Depends who you're making love to... your carnal impulses should lead the way.... animals don't ask the internet so I can guarantee you your natural instincts will come into play.... and you'll probably be scared and nervous at first but if your partner is understanding you'll be just fine!!!
It's all a learning curve!
Enjoy it!
And good luck stud!

Mostly at night, via nocturnal emissions, I should imagine with someone like you.

dunno, never slept with you, but if your asking then it probably wasn't much good!
if you're asking about the difference between having sex and making love, you'll know when you fall head over heels for someone.
