"Thank you for your interest in that important area, but that's a bit too personal for me and I am respectfully not going to reply. More coffee mother Crawford?"
If she continues to be intrusive, not concerned for your state of embarrassment, then you always knew she was this kind of silly woman and you proceeded to marry her son. Now you are stuck with her.
Inform hubby that he has a talk to undertake with his mother and that the subject of the talk will be the confidentiality of certain matters between husband and wife. One of those confidential items is the state of your virginity. Of course you are expected to not be a virgin if you have married. If you are then hubby must have been crying on his mother's shoulder: "Ma, she says she has a headache every night. Is that possible?" You two must resolve the dilemma either with getting it on or getting an annulment.

It's none of her business. And say that keeping it to yourself is a sacred to you as being a virgin. If you tell her (no matter what the truth is), she'll use it against you one day.
She sounds manipulative. No one in the right frame of mind would ask such a thing.

Tell her politely, that although you respect her opinion, you prefer to keep your sex life private, between you and your husband.
There is no right answer. It would take someone with absolutely no class to even ask that question of their daughter-in-law.

that is a very personal question.i mean what does it matter to her? first of all I would give her an honest answer rather you tell her or not, that`s your business.she`s not a judge but sounds like she`s worried about her son.ask her what is hers and give her a dose of her own medicine and watch the body language.

You can act like you've just passed out. Or tell her it's none of her business, and get your husband/wife to back you up.

Tell her, "oh, I've been with so many men, I can't remember when I lost it".
No, actually just tell her the truth if it's any of her business.
