Should I wish her well wishes for tomorrow or should I keep quite... she wished me well two months ago although I was not expecting it after how things ended between the two of us. Another thing is that I don't want to encourage her into thinking that I still love or miss her.

If you are wishing her the Happy Birthday out of pity or obligation; then don't do it. There is a chance it could lead her to believe your interested; thats how women can be; if you don't want that at all- don't bother. Let it go, move on with your life, so she can move on with hers.

If you really feel you need to contact her about her birthday, send her a text instead of calling.
"I noticed it was your birthday, hope everything is well and all your wishes come true!"

If it is without a doubt over, as you claim - you need to just let it be. Wishing her a happy birthday, having contact with her right now, will just make it harder. You will not be helping at all! No anonymous gift, no phone call, no anything. It's like ripping off a band aid! Quicker is better! Good luck!

There's nothing wrong with being civil. You'd wish your neighbor or coworker a happy birthday, correct? So you can call her up and say "have a great day today".
OR NOT and then she'll be all "well he didnt even call me to wish me a happy birthday and I did for him" kinda thing. Then you're REALLY the bad guy.

Are you currently in a relationship? If so would your girlfriend have a problem with this? If your answer is no to either/or then by all means go ahead and wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Being polite and civil isn't going to make her think you still love her. Maybe it will let her know that although things didn't work out for you guys, you're not so bad after all.

My used to be ex-boyfriend did that for me last year, he bought me this pretty picture and a card. Unless you want her to still think you love her, in which you don't, then don't do anything.

The idea I got was that he still cared and loved me, and well he did, we are together now, and are very happy.

if you did not end the relationship as friends and have no desire to be friends with her - then no. you're right, you don't want to encourage it if that's not what you want.

my ex's wished me a happy bday for a few years after we broke up. one of them i no longer talk to, but the other one i talk to sometimes, we still wish eachother happy bday, but then i parted on friendly terms with both of them.

If you guys just grew apart, or something, and you are still friends, then yes you should wish her well. If it was a bad horrible fight breakup, then you might not want to.

I think it is a good idea to wish her well. She did the same for you. Just chose your words carefully so that you dont send the wrong signal.

honestly i would just leave it alone just forget it was her birthday because if you call she will know you are thinking about her and then you have to talk to her and then she will probilly think that you still care about her miss her and want her back if your not friends then why bother what do you have to gain by it
