You don't have to worry about it. This isn't the desire of your heart.
Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

You would have to be sincere about it first.
Make AND keep certain saving covenants and ordinances, enter into the new & everlasting covenant of marriage, live the best life you can, support and sustain the priesthood...all things having to do with being an LDS member.
We believe we can inherit all the Father has and live with He and Christ and our families for all eternity. We can become like him, never above him. He will always be our God. We can create worlds as He has, procreate spirit children as he has...increase in all things.
Elohim is a name for our Heavenly Father, not a different God. We believe there are other worlds and gods of other worlds. We do not worship any other Gods but our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
As was already mention, nothing is a "100% guarantee", it all depends on how we live our life and how prepared we are for all of it when that time comes.

Since you are supposedly a Christian, why do you ask questions of Mormons as if you really want to know the answers? You have made it clear through all of your questions that you are anti-mormon.
Stop pretending.
Also, you can read the bible to find answers as well as pray to God for guidance, if you ever are sincere. In the scriptures you can find the truth. Christ has given us numerous commandments to help us become more like him and live a more Christlike life.
Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.
Romans 8:16-17:
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then HEIRS; HEIRS of God, and JOINT-HEIRS with Christ; if so be that wwe suffer with him, that we may be also glorified TOGETHER.
No. We do not worship more than one God. We worship God the Eternal Father. We have faith that through the atoning sacrifice of our Savior that we may, one day, have everlasting life.

No one knows for sure they will become a god. But you just try to live worthy of that gift. There are certain covenants, made in the temple, that you make that influence how you live your life. They don't say - If you do this, this and this you will be assured of becoming a god. Even if you fall short of attaining godhood in the world to come, you know you've lived the best life you could. We know that not everyone (not all Mormons) will attain godhood. It's a goal to shoot for, not something that can or will be attained by our own merits. It can't be achieved in this life. It's something that can be worked on in this life. There aren't different pre-requisites for those who want to attain godhood than there are for those who don't want to attain godhood. Just like people who don't believe people can become gods try to live the best life they can, keeping the commandments, following in Christ's example, so too do we. It's not something that's discussed like a topic in Sunday School, or a special set of classes or something. I normally don't even think about it.
Daiseykristina said it much more succinctly than I did.

We believe in a wonderful plan called the Plan of Salvation or the Plan of Happiness. In this, it tells us what happened before we were born. We were spirit children of God. These are called intellegences. God has a physical body (hence the reasons prophets can speak to Him face to face) and part of becoming like Him was to be physically created in His image (Gen. 1:26).
On earth, however, a we would not remember our pre-earth life and we would make mistakes. We needed a Savior who would atone for our sins and give us a way to return to our Father. At that point in time Lucifer was one ofour brothers, but he also presented a plan. In his plan we would all return to God because we would be forced to follow all the commandments. This would mean we wouldn't have the right to choose and Lucifer would become the only God. He was cast out of heaven with all the spirits how believed or supported his plan.
On earth, to reach exaltation where we can become gods and goddesses, we must choose to follow the gospel. This requires baptism, and eternal marriage. It also requires us to partake of the atonement because no unclean thing can dwell with God. We have all been asked to be perfect, but that is impossible for us, because we are human and cannot remember that which happened before we were born so we have been given prophets and scripture to guide the church as a whole and the Holy Ghost to guide us indiviually.
After we die we will go to either spirit paradise or spirit prison. Spirit paradise is a place for those who followed the commandments to wait for the resurrection. Spirit prison is the place where those who didn't obey or didn't know will wait. The can progress to Paradise by accepting the gospel. There will be missionaries there and here on earth we have been and will continue to do their ordainances through proxy.
All men will be resurrected or have their bodies returned to them after the second coming of the Savior. Then will come judgement where all men will be judged of their sins and the intentions of thier heart. We will each be sent to a place in heaven or in outer darkness.
There are three kingdoms in heaven. The Celestial kingdom is the highest and the place where God dwells. It is there, in the highest division of the celestial kingdom called exaltation, that people can learn to become gods. The next kingdom is the Terrestial followed by the Telestial. Each has glory and eveyone will have a place there.
Sons of Perdition, like Cain, who knew the truth without a doubt and acted contrary to it will go to Outer Darkness where Satan dwells.
As for what we can do as gods, if we make it to be gods...In a sense, it is an extension of what we do here. We will have been married for time and all eternity (that is a requirement to be there) so we will become fathers and mothers of spirit children and be taught to make our own worlds. It is also an eternity of learning, which makes me excited, and service and happiness. The rest of it we will have to find out when we get there. It's one of those things that the church doesn't go into much detail about. I hope this helps. If I made it more confusing, just email me and I will try to help explain it better. It may be hard to understand simply because it is not thought of often. I suggest you pray about it and look it up on www.lds.org that is the church website. If you use the search look for the Plan of Salvation under talks and addresses.

I'm not a Mormon but my wife was raised in a Mormon home and we've talked about it at length. To answer: First you'd need to get to the highest level of Heaven. (Mormons believe in 3 levels of heaven....you get to the highest one by being a very very good boy or girl.) If you've been a really really really good person you might qualify for the job of being a new God with your own creation. So....how good have you been? lol

Wrong. We do not believe that we will be Gods. There is only one true God. We believe that we will become LIKE God in the afterlife, if we have followed all of His commandments. Visit www.lds.org to get correct information.

Over the vastness of eternity, spend lots and lots of time learning and becoming perfect like Him.
No one is going to even get close in this life.
