Is a woman who moves in on a married person, more than likely a man. They will seduce a man and this will upset or "wreak" a home and all who live in it. It's usually a woman, whorish, who cares for nobody but herself and thinks of only her needs. The homewreaker preys on weakness and could even be a "friend".

The term "home wrecker" refers to a woman who seduces a married man and persuades him to leave his wife to marry her. It can also be the reverse, of course, but the term is usually applied to females.

Dunno, but if you just spelled it phonetically and meant homewrecker instead?

A homewrecker is a term that means someone who tries to break up an established relationship (usually a marriage). It's usually women who are called a homewrecker, but I guess guys could be called one too.

Check out Gretchen Wilson, Styx and Sisco -- they've all got songs called Homewrecker....
