I am assuming you have already been to the doc. and have some type of antibiotic to clear the infection. Also try eucalyptus oil, this will help drain your sinuses. Either rub it on your chest, temples, and forehead (over the bridge of your nose). Or put a few drops into a bowl of hot water and inhale. Usually the throbbing pain is because your sinuses are full of disgusting things, the pressure causes the pain. I have these problems all of the time, so sorry you have to go through it too.
Best of luck.

Oh yeah, if you can't sleep try an anti-histamine cold medicine, you know a sleepy time one.

Deep breath for 5 minutes, drink some warm tea and rest totally. Take anti-histamine and rub balm on your neck and chest.

Pinch your nose and blow to pop to your ears, do this 10-15 times a day to keep air moving through your sinuses.
