If they form 90 degree angles with each other.
That is if they form right angle with each other.
You can use a simple device like perpendicular meter with
a suspended pencil in an equilateral triangle to see if they form right anfgle.
Assuming that you have one of the object's surface perfectly horizontal then
if you place this device upright on this surfaces then due to gravity the pencil suspended from the top of this triangular device will have its point right in the center of the base of the triangular device. If the pencil hangs parallel to another surface then they form right angles.
If none of the surfaces is exactly horizontal then
you can measure their angles by putting the above device on one surface and then the another and each time measuring the angle of the pencil. The see the difference of angles (measured from 0 to 360) and if they make right angle.
(90 degree difference)
Another simple technique is to take two scales which are connected at right angles (90 degrees) and use that to see whether the surfaces under question make exactly the same angle as the scales. (Neither bigger nor smaller angle)
For distant objects Engineers use sextants to measure their angles.

If you are trying to measure to see if objects are perpendicular you need what is called a square. Carpenters need them to make sure that their boards are 90 degrees from each other. You will also need to make sure that the surfaces on the objects for measurement are pretty flat.
Take the square and try to place the edges on each surface. If there are gaps or a taper, then the surfaces are not perpendicular.

They make a right angle to each other and I know in algebra, if they had equations, the product of them must be equal to 1 for them to be perpendicular.
