I have always gotten really down on Sunday usually around mid afternoon and through the rest of the evening. I'm sure it is because of the dread of starting the work week ahead or the school week, back when I was in school. Just wondering how many other people experience a feeling of depression on Sunday. If you do, how do you try to fight it? I usually put on a good movie.

yes especially in the evening when I know that the next day is a work day that usually depresses me. I always wish to start Friday evening over again. The work week seems to last a long time but the weekends go by so incredibly fast, not fair.

I used to dread going back to school on Monday when I was in primary school. When I was a bit older, I used to get depressed on Sundays because the day is so sedate. Of all the days of the week, Sundays definitely have a "feel", especially in a small town.

We used to go to church then have Sunday dinner. My mom worked nights so she would go to bed. Then we had to sit around and be quiet because even playing outside could wake her. My dad often rented movies or we'd go over to friends houses.

Still, I swear I could go into a coma for a few months and wake on a Sunday and know the day by the feel. I used to get depressed by it, but as an adult, I sort of have learned to enjoy the peace of the day.

I wouldn't call it a depression, it is a feeling of let down more than anything. I coach high school football so on Friday nights, i have a game, Saturdays are football filled, i coach j.v. and either watch my former college where i played at or go home and watch a game. Then on Sundays you have pro games which i will watch.

I feel that let down around 4 p.m. on Sunday. I usually take time to play with my son and then realize that this is what is all about. That usually gets me out of that state.

Sometimes I am depressed everyday but on Sundays I go to church and that really uplifts my spirit. Followed by a nice home cooked dinner, read my Bible, listen to some uplifting gospel music like Kirk Franklin and a wind down with a huge hot mug of chamomile tea and a nice classical movie on TMC or AMC.

Meh, you're an person. awaken to a pair folgers like another American, and do what you gotta do. Or, take in much less artwork. Or discover time on Monday's for some particular "You" time. some thing to get amped approximately, excited for. Y'understand? could help.

Yes I do. In fact it gets so bad that I cry. Anyways for me it starts at the same time. I just get my hw done and then watch a good show with my mom. I'm still sad but when it gets more late I'm fine.
