The Bible has many different versions all written more than 300 years after Jesus(pbuh) died. The Qur'an was memorised and written during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The Bible was edited several times, some gospels were rejected, some were burnt, etc. Not so with the Qur'an. Theres only one version.
A few people have said the Bible has fulfilled prophecies. Yes, it probably does, since it was the Word of God, and not all of it was changed. And so does the Qur'an.

The Bible has been changed many times, there are different versions. There are also many Gospels that were left out or lost, like the dead sea scrolls, the Agnostic Gospels etc. The Koran however, still exists in the original. It has been translated into many languages, but it always has the original Arabic along with it for comparison. It has not been changed and revised. It tells us of many things that were not known at the time it was revealed. Things like how a baby is formed in the womb, how the mountains act as a stabilizing force on the earths surface. These things we not accept as scientific fact but at that time they were unheard of, especially to an illiterate man like the Prophet. He didn't have microscopes to see how a cell divides. If it was not divine revelation, how did he know these things? The Bible tells us history and it gives us prophecy of things to come, but most of it has not happened so we can't know if it is true or not. The Koran tells us of things that can be scientifically proven. That is a big difference. You can find more evidence on www.islam101.com and www.islamfortoday.com to see for yourself, don't take my word, investigate .

ND>Everyone,
Prophecy. The fulfillment of that which was spoken in the Old Testament, fulfilled in the New Testament. And look at what we have; God, according to most Christians, is still our salvation, God sent the Messiah when He said that He would (Daniel), that the Lord of Hosts is the King of Glory (Psalm 24), that salvation would come to the whole world (Isaiah 49:6), that the Jews wouldn't believe (Isaiah 53 amongst others), and many other things. The Qu'ran does not even recognize Jesus as being God, or the Son of God. Therefore He could not be the Word of God, or the Author and Finisher of Faith, could He? Or the Lord of Glory. And if Mohammed was right, then Christianity is not true, and the entire Bible is not true, because the birthright promises went to Isaac, which the Muslims do not believe. They believe that they went to Ismail, which is completely myopic, and ignores the rest of the Bible. The Muslims however, choose to believe parts of the Bible, but conveniently ignore thoseverses that would refute their Qu'ran.
So despite them attempting to make it sound like one big tree with many branches, Islam is no more akin to Christianity, than Buddhism is. The Qu'ran is caught in a hole because it claims that Jesus was a prophet. But when you look at the Bible, you can see that He was a lot more than that. He was really God as well.

1 Peter 1:25
but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.
Psalm 119:89

Isaiah 40:7-8
7The grass withers, the flower fades
when the breath of the LORD blows on it;
surely the people are grass.
8The grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever.
In the end, you will see that the one and only God is the true and living God, the God of the Bible- the Maker of heaven and earth....
All the other things shall pass away, but indeed the WORD of the Lord will stand forever! Amen!
Deuteronomy 4:35
You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other.
Isaiah 44:8
Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one."
John 1:1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
