Proper skin care starts with diet. Olive oil is so good for your skin. A diet with every day use of olive oil will keep you looking young for a long time. A diet rich in green leafy veggies and rich colored fruit is also a must. Absolutely avoid bad ingredients in food such as corn syrup. I heard this advice on TV by Dr. Perricone and I was sold and have since done what he has said, even without buying his products and it helped tremendously.
Also:
Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week. Use a daily moisturizer and be careful with cheap make-up, since this is the biggest reason for clogged pores.
Those models you see on TV and in the magazines are airbrushed. I have a digital camera and can easily air brush my own photos if I wanted too.
Good skin starts on the inside, then on the outside.
You can look the good doctor Perricone up online if you are interested.

First the lights on tv really make the people look perfect. Second pictures are airbrushed. If you don't have any pimples or blemishes then you are already a step ahead of some. You probably look great already.

Unless airbrushing comes to real life, you'll never get your skin to look that way. The people you see on TV have had make up artists work with them for hours and have special lighting and camera effects to look that way. It's not real life or realistic. I'm sure the people you see on TV don't even look that way in real life.

You would think differently if you saw some of them face to face.
But by the power of the magic of television they look flawless, thanks to soft lenses, airbrush, make up, CG etc.
Some actors who really have good skin say they drink a lot of water and use way expensive skin products. I
It sounds like you are just fine, you don't need to change anything.

what they do on TV is all effects and oodles of foundation to hide those little pores and pimples. You can't completely have a clear skin, but to improve and keep it healty, apply tomato and cucumber juice. Its very good for the skin. ofcourse, you need to have tonnes of water and cut down on oily foods.

alot of it is the lighting they use that makes the skin look like its glowing. Good skin care is also important. but its mostly the magic of the camera

Air brush baby! You can actually purchase a small air brush machine for home use, then your face will really look flawless. Thats the only way though.
